Dave has been teaching young children the building blocks of music for 15 years.  He knows what works; talking to children as equals and not watering down the songs into goofy nonsense.   Dave uses real blues, rock, jazz and classical styles to create an experience that stays with children and becomes a resource to them when they are on their own.  He developes a relationship where they are filled with joy when they know they are going to have their music time together.   You can tell in class that Dave feels the same joy.   Using stories, props, magic tricks and a constant thread of humor,  children learn to read music and basic music theory while suddenly finding themselves dancing because they can't help it!  When parents sit in they can tell right away that Dave is a parent too and he knows how to make the adults laugh on another level.  Dave provides lesson plans for ages 4-12 mos.,  12-18mos., 18-24 mos., 24-36 mos. 3-4 yrs., preK.
